Light & Wonder launching its iGaming content into the Mexican market

The new Light & Wonder arm of American gaming machines behemoth Scientific Games Corporation is to reportedly launch its content into the regulated iGaming market of Mexico via an extended partnership with operator Rush Street Interactive.

According to a Tuesday report from a source, the Las Vegas-headquartered subordinate has inked a deal that will see its online casino innovations integrated onto the RushBet.mx domain from Rush Street Interactive. This arrangement will purportedly involve the site utilizing the pioneer’s OpenGaming platform so as to begin offering iGaming aficionados in Mexico a large range of its proprietary and third-party games for the first time.

Light & Wonder was spun off to handle its parent’s gaming and iGaming offerings in March while Rush Street Interactive is the online gaming subordinate of American land-based casino operator Rush Street Gaming. This latter concern has run New Jersey’s PlaySugarHouse.com domain since September of 2016 before going on to premiere the BetRivers.com service and the Colombia-facing RushBet.co enterprise.

Tatiana Garcia Barrenechea serves as the Latin America Commercial Director for Light & Wonder and reportedly described Mexico as ‘one of the top-performing markets in Latin America’. For his part and the Chief Executive Officer for Light & Wonder, Richard Schwartz, reportedly disclosed that the first wave of his firm’s games set to go live on RushBet.mx will include the mobile-friendly 88 Fortunes video slot in addition to third-party titles such as the Bonanza Megaways advance from Big Time Gaming and Lightning Box Games’ Dragon Palace innovation.
